In the end coconut sugar is no miracle food. It is similar to regular sugars. Coconut sugar is not as processed as, so contains minor amounts of nutrients. It is surely healthier than refined sugar.
Coconut sugar contains little magnesium, iron and zinc but is high in fructose. One can substitute sugars for white sugar but it has the same number of calories and grams of carbs.
